Insights that link to their claims and wait for review

An insight lists the claims behind it, shows how fresh the evidence is and waits for a person to approve it. Once approved, it can become an action.

The “live in a day” promise is contested for agencies with many client projects.

Meridian's own page promises one-day onboarding, while agency-side accounts describe weeks. A 10-seat minimum, and an October per-seat increase (SG-002), raise the cost of a slow start for small agencies. Opening for a migration-ready onboarding story.

Confidence is a label on the insight, not a statistical guarantee.

The problem

A conclusion with no lineage

When a recommendation cannot be traced to evidence, nobody can challenge it later, and it is rarely reused.

How it works

  1. Synthesise from stored claims. Insights draw only on claims already stored in the workspace.
  2. Attach metadata. Confidence and freshness are shown beside the insight, with the claim IDs that produced it.
  3. Review. A person approves or rejects. Approved insights are available to actions and Ask.
  4. Reuse. Approved insights persist in the workspace and inform later research.

Evidence and provenance

  • The insight-to-claim links are explicit IDs.
  • Freshness reflects the age of the underlying evidence.
  • Review status is part of the record.
  • Rejected insights stay on record and are not used for actions.

Capability status

  • InsightsInterpretations synthesised from stored claims, with confidence and freshness metadata.

FAQ

Insights: common questions

What does confidence mean?

It is a label that shows how well the stored evidence supports an insight. It is not a statistical guarantee and should not be read as one.

Can I reject an insight?

Yes. Rejected insights are not used for actions.

How do signals become insights?

Promote a signal and it becomes a draft insight that carries the signal’s claim. It goes through the same review as any other insight.
