A digest of the period’s signals, ranked, with recommended actions

Rule-built from stored signals. A model may rewrite the summary, but every signal it cites is validated.

The problem

A raw list of changes needs someone to sort it

A list of changes is a to-do list for the analyst. Leaders need the few items that matter, the reason each one matters and the next step.

How it works

  1. Pick a cadence. Daily, weekly, monthly, or a custom look-back for an on-demand brief.
  2. Rank what happened. Signals from the period are ranked by importance, then confidence. Dismissed signals are left out.
  3. Summarise. An executive summary says how many changes were detected and how many need attention.
  4. Recommend. Actions from the top signals are merged into a short, prioritised list.
  5. Click through. Every item links to its signal and the evidence behind it, where you can promote it to an insight.

Evidence and provenance

  • Briefs are built from stored signals. A week with no signals produces an empty brief that says so.
  • A model can rewrite the summary. If it cites a signal that does not exist, the rewrite is discarded and the rule-built version is used.
  • Each brief records whether it was rule-built or model-written.

Capability status

  • BriefsDaily, weekly, monthly or on-demand digests: what happened, why it matters, what to do.

FAQ

Brief: common questions

Is a brief emailed to me?

Not yet. Briefs are generated in the product, on demand or on a schedule. Email delivery is a later capability.

Can I trust the summary?

The facts come from stored signals, and every item links to its evidence. If a model wrote the summary, the brief says so.

What is left out of a brief?

Dismissed signals. The rest are ranked by importance, then confidence, so lower-rated items sit lower on the page.
